Kromschröder's VAS and VCS solenoid valves are Class A safety valves according to EN 161, specially developed for the automatic shut-off of gas and air supply. These normally closed valves (de-energized closed) are suitable for working pressures up to a maximum of 500 mbar.

Equipped with a blue status indicator and adjustable flow control, these valves offer optimal control and monitoring. They have full EC type approval and certification, as well as FM and CSA approvals, making them suitable for safety systems up to SIL 3 and Performance Level e.

The modular design allows easy customization for specific application requirements in a variety of industrial sectors, such as iron and steel, glass production and ceramic manufacturing.
