The burner controller PFU 780 from Kromschröder controls, ignites and monitors industrial gas burners in intermittent or continuous operation. Thanks to its fully electronic design, it reacts quickly to different process requirements and is therefore also suitable for frequent switching. The PFU 780 can be used for industrial burners with unlimited power, which are ignited by pilot burners. The pilot and main burner are independently controlled and monitored, reducing the start-up time of the main burner. The pilot burner can burn continuously or be turned off. Burner control is used for burners with mechanical combustion air supply, where the fan is controlled by a separate logic, as well as for atmospheric burners.
