Honeywell Flame Detection
The FS24X Plus is an advanced triple IR flame detector that uses Honeywell's WideBand IR™ technology. It quickly and accurately detects both flammable and hydrogen flames, even in challenging conditions such as rain, fog or smoke. The device is rugged, SIL2-certified, suitable for marine applications and offers features such as automatic self-tests, 'Window Clarity' diagnostics, LED status ring (Halo), data logging (FirePics™) and communication via 4-20 mA, HART® and Modbus.
The FS10-R (Fire Sentry System 10-R) is specially designed for spraying and coating installations, with a multi-spectral IR electro-optical sensor. It is distinguished by a two-stage alarm response: first an ALERT at the onset of a flame (such as a "fireball"), followed shortly thereafter by a final FIRE ALARM if the flame persists. This setup minimizes false alarms caused by arc damage or solvent fog. The FS10-R is NFPA 33 compliant, provides automatic self-tests and stores visual snapshots (FirePics™, SnapShot™), and communicates via RS-485.
The FS20X combines UV, Dual-IR and VIS technologies with a solar-blind UV sensor, providing fast detection over longer distances with minimal error messages. With a detection range of more than 60 m at a 0.1 m² flame, it is particularly suitable for environments with smoke or contamination. Thanks to dual microprocessors, it offers reliable data processing, comprehensive data logging and self-diagnosis (including FirePic™ events).
Aimed at light industrial and commercial applications, the FSL100 series includes models with UV, UV/IR, and Triple IR (IR3) detection technologies. These detectors are rugged, easy to install, and designed for indoor and outdoor use in potentially explosive environments (such as ATEX Zone 2/22). They recognize both hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon flames through advanced signal analysis, have a wide viewing angle, and respond to fire at lightning speed. The FSL100 series is certified to EN54-10 and FM3260, features automatic health testing, manual testing via test lamps, and offers both relay and 4-20 mA outputs. Detection models can be supplied with red or white housing and optional rotatable mounting brackets.
