Elster's Q counters are highly reliable turbine gas meters used in various industrial applications to measure both actual flow and cumulative consumption over a defined period of time. The operating principle is based on a turbine wheel driven by the gas flow, with the number of revolutions directly proportional to the volume of gas flowing through. These meters meet the technical specifications for industrial, non-fiscal measurements. The Q/Q75 range is specifically designed for heavy industrial applications with increased performance requirements. For fiscal purposes, Honeywell offers fiscally approved meters, such as the TRZ2 or SM-RI-X turbine meter and the RABO or IRM-3 DUO rotary gas meter.
